Four people were hanged in southeastern Iran- Several possibly executed in Tehran

According to the official site of the Iranian judiciary in Kerman (southeastern Iran) four people were hanged in the central prison of this city early this morning.
The men were identified as “Esmaeil J.” convicted of keeping 980 grams of heroin and 28 grams of opium, “Hassan N.” and “Hassan Gh.” for participation in armed smugling of 137 kilograms and 250 grams of opium, and “Hassan K.” for keeping 26250 grams heroin and 55 kilograms of morphine adn carrying 39 grams of opium, said the report.
The rights group “Human rights and democracy activists” reported that several people were hanged in tehran’s Evin prison this morning. According to this report one of the executed prisoners was identifed as “Abdolhamid Rigi” (36), baluchi ciizen convicted of Moharebeh (war against God). The report didn’t mention the name or exact number of the other prisoners who have allegedly been executed in tehran today.
The official Iranian media didn’t mention today’s executions in Tehran.
